ABOUT THE POSITION
At Inner Strength, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Öjebyn. We are currently seeking someone who wants to work as an hourly substitute and be scheduled for 1-2 shifts per week.
At our client's home, you will work weekdays and weekends according to the following hours:
• 12:00-20:00 Mon-Thu + Sat-Sun
• 12:00-16:30 Fri
Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can begin introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a happy and lively four-year-old boy who loves being outdoors - whether playing in the forest or exploring playgrounds. And sometimes relaxing with his iPad. He has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and therefore needs help and support in all aspects. He lives with his family in Öjebyn, where both a dog and cat are part of their life.
During the day, he attends preschool, and when the preschool day ends - you as an assistant will take over by being a safe, playful, and engaged part of his afternoon and evening. Together you will train, eat, play, and find fun activities both inside and outside, all in a warm and caring environment where joy and curiosity are welcome.
Work tasks include:
• Support with daily routines, including household chores
• Help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
• Training and activation
• Medication
• Tube feeding
The client uses a wheelchair, shower chair, feeding tube, nighttime oxygen monitoring. Communication aids will be introduced soon.
ARE YOU THE ONE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
We seek someone who is positive and still has a childlike spirit! You need to be comfortable with/enjoy playing with the client. You should be patient and able to handle potentially stressful situations. It is a significant advantage if you enjoy outdoor activities, walks, and playing in forests and playgrounds.

REQUIREMENTS
• Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Able to tolerate pet animals, as dog and cat are present in the home
• You are a non-smoker, as the client cannot tolerate smoke
• Ability to swim and tolerate chlorinated water
MERITS
• Previous experience as a personal assistant or other care experience
• Healthcare education or equivalent
• Experience with cerebral palsy and/or epilepsy
Employment level: Hourly substitute + 1-2 scheduled shifts/week
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreement.
