The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, youth, families, adults, elderly, and individuals with disabilities.

Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for managing temporary staff for in-house operations in Huddinge Municipality. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly temporary workers for various functions within disability support and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.
We are currently seeking hourly temporary workers for our nursing homes. We have four nursing homes located centrally in Huddinge Municipality: Västergården, Björnkulla, Tallgården, and Rosendalsgården. On the east side of Huddinge, we also have Stortorp Elderly Center in Trångsund. To determine where you are interested in working, you will be asked specific questions in your application.

Job tasks include meeting our residents' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You will treat residents with respect, focusing on making them feel secure and involved in their care. The role also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.
Your Profile
To be considered for the position, you need to be available at least three days per week and able to work varying hours that may occur during day and evening, or night, on weekdays and weekends. Start date will be by agreement, and we will prioritize candidates who can also work during Christmas and New Year's. Since you'll work at different times of the day, exceptional flexibility is required. As a temporary worker, you must be available on short notice.
Ideal candidates have experience working in elderly care, preferably in nursing homes. It is advantageous if you are a certified nursing assistant and have work experience with dementia and medication delegation.
The work requires high levels of initiative, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. You need to be confident and comfortable working with individuals who require continuity, structure, and care. We seek someone with a professional approach characterized by a good human perspective and excellent interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
Good computer skills are necessary as documentation is done electronically.
