JOB DESCRIPTION
As a substitute within the school system, you will work in preschool or school and after-school care, replacing absent staff. It is important that you can build good relationships with the children/youth and are attentive to their needs, while also taking responsibility and setting boundaries. Showing engagement and being active and present in the children’s play and learning is essential.
Some of the substitute needs may arise suddenly, so we are looking for someone who can be available at short notice. You should enjoy working in various workplaces and be adaptable to new working methods and routines.
In Vadstena, there are three preschools and three schools from preschool class to grade 9.
Before your employment, you will need to submit a criminal record extract from the police.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
•   Has a high school diploma or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
•   Has good collaboration skills.
•   Is curious and exploratory.
•   Wants to learn alongside the children.
•   Is attentive and respectful.
•   Focuses on the assignment and the children.
It is an advantage if you have a degree as a childcare worker and/or previous experience working in preschool, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
