About this role
Are you interested in direct social work by supporting individuals with functional variations towards development? We are now seeking substitute work supervisors for daily activities in Lödöse. We offer training and several benefits.
About the Role: The work involves supporting individuals with acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, autism, dementia, and neuropsychiatric functional impairments towards development. At Nytida's daily activities, we have two main focus areas: Health and Holidays.
With this as a starting point, our 20 workers participate in various creative activities to create a meaningful daily life. A morning of gift preparation in the studio can be combined with a gym session and end with Lucia singing in the music room. Each worker chooses their desired activities every six months, and staff provide individual adaptations. Workers in daily activities have a job description and an implementation plan to be followed up according to IBIC. As staff, you will follow work orders with distributed activities and tasks. Each work order has associated risk assessments, interaction plans, and activity descriptions. These create a holistic, safe, and clear day for everyone.
Since we swim, bowl, and exercise every week, it's important that you enjoy a high activity level and have a driver's license. Your creative side will be helpful in the creation workshop, and your lack of pretension will be tested during karaoke!
About You:
- You enjoy meeting the individuals in our operations.
- You can easily switch focus and tasks.
- You are comfortable in care situations.
- You are a brave, consistent, and secure adult.
- You are positive when your colleagues provide feedback on your actions, for the individual's best interest.
Every day with us is unique, and the individuals in our operations take precedence over staff needs. In practice, this means that as staff, we need to be humble about what we encounter in the unit and find security in our core values. In our work group, we strive for high work ethics and expect you to apply for this job because you want to be involved in creating the best possible operation. As a work group, we are proud of our operation and always close to laughter and mischief! You will have a group manager nearby who spends part of their time working in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your Experience and Knowledge:
- High school education in healthcare and care, such as a nursing assistant.
- Good Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing.
- Good computer skills and documentation experience.
- Postgraduate education in social work (such as social worker, occupational therapist) is meritorious, as is experience working with the target group.
- Your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right qualities, we will support and help you grow.
You have a positive basic outlook and strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our workers as your starting point.
At Nytida, we are constantly developing. Here, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
We also offer collective agreements, service pensions, and insurance.
