Hourly Substitute Teacher for Adapted Primary School in Hjo Municipality

About the Position
As an hourly substitute teacher in the Adapted Primary School, you will work alongside educators and teaching assistants in daily classroom activities. You will support students with intellectual disabilities and/or neuropsychiatric conditions (NPF) such as autism or ADHD.
The work involves adapting support and approach based on each student's individual needs. You will participate in both teaching and practical activities – from creative work, movement, and communication to daily routines that provide structure and security.

We Are Seeking Someone Who:
• Has knowledge or experience working with students with intellectual disabilities and/or NPF.
• Is familiar with or has experience in low-arousal approach.
• Is attentive, patient, and confident – easily building good relationships.
• Is initiative-taking, flexible, and solution-focused in your approach.
• Enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
• Has excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written.
• To work with children in municipal activities, you will be asked to provide an extract from the police criminal record register. This is in accordance with provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
It is meritorious if you have pedagogical education, experience from adapted schools, or care services.
