Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.
About the position
The role of a personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are currently seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Wants to work with a 47-year-old woman living in Linköping with her husband and teenage children.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has experience with low-arousal approaches.
• Has experience with NPF (Neuropsychiatric Disorders), particularly practical knowledge of autism and "autistic masking."
• Is comfortable around dogs.
• Can tolerate pets.
It is also advantageous if you:
• Have experience in similar work.
• Share the client's interests, which include Närcon, LGBTQ+ issues, dogs, creativity, socializing with friends, listening to music, and she has a strong interest in spirituality.
Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The current employment form is "Hourly Employment," meaning you will be called in during the absence of regular staff. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and weekends between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM (mixed hours).
The hourly wage is according to agreement, and other compensations are in accordance with the collective agreement.
Start date:
According to agreement.
Being employed at Humana:
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid identification and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
