About the Work
The municipality has three cooking kitchens, and depending on where you work, you will prepare meals for preschool, school, and/or elderly care. The kitchen at Solängen service house also packs meal containers for home care meal distribution.
The kitchens in the municipality have work rotation, which can include sharing responsibility for ordering and planning work. You will take turns with your colleagues preparing lunch for elderly care, school, or preschool. You will have the support of the Mashie food data program, where you retrieve current recipes, interpret and calculate based on the current dish, and then proceed with preparation.
The cook's work involves tasks such as cooking, packaging, cleaning, dishwashing, delivery checks, and unpacking goods. The work also involves following the kitchen's routines and policies, such as self-monitoring and HACCP.
Qualifications
For this position, you need either experience working in large-scale catering/restaurant or be a trained chef. You should have knowledge of and be able to prepare the most common special diets and have knowledge of HACCP. You must be 18 years or older, have good collaborative skills and flexibility, but also be able to take initiative and work independently.

The work as an hourly substitute means you will be contacted when needed to replace regular staff during absences.
