About the Company Waxö Omsorg is a small care company that offers support, service, and care to adults with cognitive and neuropsychiatric disabilities and individuals with acquired brain injuries. The individual's needs, wishes, and integrity are guiding principles for all activities at Waxö Omsorg. A key starting point is to offer care recipients the support they need to live as independently and fulfilling a life as possible. We strive to ensure that the individuals we are responsible for achieve a high degree of independence, feel significant, and participate in society like other community members. Waxö Omsorg has a collective agreement with parties according to the Care and Support Agreement, Swedish Municipal Workers' Union Kommunal. Waxö Omsorg is a member of the Municipal Companies' Organization (KFS). About the Workplace Storgatan Group Home is an LSS residence for individuals with varying support needs. Six care recipients live here with approved support under LSS Section 9 § 9, receiving assistance in their daily home and leisure life. Support is delivered according to each care recipient's implementation plan, based on their will and needs. Part-Time Care Worker – Make a Difference in People's Daily Lives! Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to make a positive difference in people's lives? We are now seeking part-time workers for our organization. With us, you'll have the opportunity to support individuals in their daily lives and contribute to their independence and well-being. Job Responsibilities: As a part-time worker with us, you will: • Support care recipients in their daily lives based on individual implementation plans. • Motivate and help individuals in a pedagogical manner to achieve set goals. • Create a safe and meaningful existence for those we support. • Work independently and as a team in interactions with care recipients. • Participate in leisure activities, outings, and other social contexts, providing support. • Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professional actors to ensure the best possible support for care recipients. • Follow organizational routines and guidelines in accordance with applicable legislation. • Prepare shared meals and follow guidelines from health and environmental management. We Are Seeking Someone Who: • Has strong empathetic abilities and can meet each individual according to their specific needs. Working with people with cognitive disabilities requires great patience, care, and understanding. • Is curious and adaptable. Since each individual is unique, you must be attentive and flexible in every interaction with care recipients. You should be able to adapt your approach based on their ability to receive and communicate information. • Can work independently when interacting with care recipients, both in their homes and when accompanying them to medical appointments or leisure activities. • Treats everyone professionally and has good collaboration skills with colleagues, relatives, and other professional actors to create a positive work environment and ensure the best possible support for those we work with. • Has a solution-focused approach and ability to handle challenges constructively. • Can understand, speak, read, and write Swedish, as the work requires daily documentation and contact with colleagues at the residence, daily activities, habilitation, HSL team, and guardians.
