Your Responsibilities

As a substitute worker, you will work within elderly care, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), or social psychiatry. Your work will be both varied and developmental. You will contribute to creating joyful days for citizens who need support and assistance.
Your responsibilities will involve helping people in their daily lives. This may include supporting with daily chores and personal care and hygiene, as well as participating in and organizing social and recreational activities. Each day will present new challenges, and your efforts will make a significant difference for the individuals you work with.
To ensure you feel secure in your tasks, you will receive thorough training. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and participate in a digital introductory training program. After completing the medication delegation training, you may also have the opportunity to administer pre-packaged medication.

In elderly care, we focus on supporting and caring for elderly individuals. In your role, you will assist individuals in their daily lives with the goal of strengthening their individual abilities. You will work in one of our nursing homes, short-term care facilities, home care services, or day activities.
In LSS, you will support adults or children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum diagnoses, acquired brain injuries, or other significant functional impairments. There may be limited or no verbal communication. You can contribute in environments such as group homes, service apartments, short-term homes for children and adults, recreational homes for children and youth with LSS decisions, as well as in escort and respite services.
In social psychiatry, we work with youth/young adults and adults with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as individuals with substance abuse and social issues. The aim is to support clients towards an independent life and to be involved in support, service, and care. We have supported housing, training housing, housing support, and HVB homes (special residential homes). There may be instances of outwardly aggressive behavior.
Who You Are
To thrive in this role, you are someone who enjoys helping others and has a genuine interest in support, care, and assistance.
We are looking for candidates who have at least started or completed a Swedish high school education or have completed and passed SFI D (Swedish for Immigrants) for work in elderly care or LSS. It is advantageous if you have started or completed education in: Child and Leisure, Health and Care, or a higher vocational or university education in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, medicine, speech therapy, or physiotherapy.
Previous work experience in the form of internships or paid work is also an asset.
To work in social psychiatry and/or HVB homes, it is required that you have completed education from the health and care program or have completed at least 60 higher education credits in social work or health care. Alternatively, another complete high school education combined with at least one year of care experience is required.
To work with us, you need to be at least 18 years old, considering the tasks involved in the job. You must also be able to perform personal care for all users.
The work involves a lot of client contact and documentation, which means that you must have a good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. Therefore, we conduct a language test as part of the selection process. This test ensures that all applicants have the same opportunity to demonstrate their language skills. We also expect you to have good computer skills, as the work involves some digital documentation.
In certain operations, it may be necessary to be able to cycle, while others may require a driver's license. For some placements, it may also be an advantage to have access to your own car.
As a person, you are self-driven and responsible, and you take initiative in your work. You collaborate well with others and communicate clearly. An empathetic ability is important, meaning you can understand the perspectives and situations of others.
