About the Role
As a nursing assistant or caregiver within home care, you will work closely with people in need of care and support in their own homes. Your tasks will include personal care, assistance during meals, social interaction, and accompanying clients on walks. You will also be expected to perform delegated tasks from nurses/rehabilitation staff and adhere to current routines and guidelines. Furthermore, you are expected to write care plans based on the client's individual needs. The work is varied, and you will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. The role requires a high level of engagement, and you will actively participate in the development and improvement of the services provided.
Our clients live in Norrtälje and surrounding areas, where we primarily reach our clients by car, bicycle, or on foot. Later in the advertisement, you can choose which location you would like to work at.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing personal care and assistance during meals
- Engaging in social interaction with clients and accompanying them on walks
- Performing delegated tasks from nurses or rehabilitation personnel
- Writing care plans based on the individual needs of the clients
- Working both independently and in collaboration with colleagues to provide the best possible care
- Actively contributing to the development and improvement of our services
About You
For this position, you will need:
- Previous experience in similar roles with varied tasks
- Basic digital competence
- Good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Ability to ride a bicycle
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Training as a nursing assistant with a professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
- Experience and interest in areas such as dementia, technology, and documentation
- A B driving license

Additional Information
As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to hold the title of nursing assistant. You can apply for the certificate on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website. If you have received care and nursing education according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations but have not yet received your professional certificate, you may be employed under the title of care assistant instead.
If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to provide a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to hold a work permit.
