The Staffing Department is a municipal resource that manages short-term absences up to 14 days within school operations. We offer you the opportunity to work in various schools, where your work is meaningful and appreciated by both students and colleagues.
We at the Staffing Department are now seeking more engaged hourly substitutes who want to work in our primary schools in the northern and eastern areas.

WORK TASKS
As an hourly-paid substitute in primary school, you will support daily pedagogical work.
Work tasks may vary depending on the assignment's nature, but may include:
• Leading or supporting instruction in class or smaller groups
• Providing support for individual students or student groups during the school day
• Participating in recess activities, meal situations, and after-school programs
• Contributing to safety and work peace in the classroom and at school
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Has education in child and leisure programs, teaching credentials, or equivalent school work experience
• Has good interpersonal skills, is responsible, flexible, and collaborative
• Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Is at least 18 years old and can be available on short notice
Experience working in primary or adapted primary school is meritorious.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
Please attach grades, diploma, preschool teacher certification and/or teacher certification.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Since substitute needs can arise suddenly, you must be able to report to work on short notice. You are expected to be available for at least three work shifts per week, with exceptions for retirees and students in our operational areas.
Work occurs during daytime, Monday-Friday, during school hours 06:30-18:30.

As an employee of the staffing department, you must provide a criminal record extract before employment can be created, regardless of which operation you will work in. You therefore need to order extracts for both work in preschool and primary school, as well as work with children with disabilities. When showing your criminal record extract, you must also bring valid identification.
Before potential employment, we will verify citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Bring a valid passport, national ID card, or personal certificate.
In several of our operations, a driver's license may be a requirement. Therefore, a driver's license is meritorious.
