About the Position
The Staffing Unit is seeking hourly-paid treatment assistants to work across our various facilities.
As part of our team, you will provide stability and continuity during regular staff absences. The work is diverse and offers broad experience in social work within municipal service areas.
As an hourly employee, you can schedule your own availability, but we prefer candidates who can work 2-3 shifts per week.
Our facilities operate seven days a week, providing hourly workers opportunities to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Our facilities have staffing needs during operating hours, and interested candidates should be able to work both day and evening shifts. Night and on-call shifts may also be required at some facilities. As an hourly employee, you are expected to continuously update your availability.
About the Facilities
Our facilities serve individuals with social and/or psychological challenges. This may include active substance abuse and mental disabilities, with or without co-occurring conditions. Many facilities do not require sobriety, which demands professional interaction, stability, and a secure approach.
Responsibilities

- Work based on individual implementation plans.
- Manage documentation, planning, and follow-up of interventions.
- Handle acute situations and make appropriate assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create a safe and structured environment.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Ongoing or completed university degree in social work, social pedagogy, or equivalent behavioral science education.
- Strong ability to collaborate and work independently.
- Confidence in meeting people in crisis and managing challenging situations calmly and respectfully.
- Non-confrontational and professional approach.
Experience in social support, addiction care, or psychiatry is advantageous. Knowledge and experience with MI (Motivational Interviewing), LAB (Low Affective Behavior), and ÅP (Relapse Prevention) methods are also beneficial.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Class B driver's license, as driving may be required.
- Criminal record and suspicion register extract required before employment.
Want to work in an environment where you make a real difference – and where no two days are the same?
Welcome to apply!
