About this role

About the Role

Do you want to gain valuable experience in recruitment and help find the right employees for our airports? We are looking for three curious and engaged individuals who are studying or have recently completed their HR studies and want to be part of our recruitment team during our peak season this winter.

Responsibilities

What does the role entail? You will gain valuable experience of the entire recruitment process by working alongside two recruiters in our volume recruitments for the summer season. Together, you will assess candidates' skills and behaviors based on given criteria, while representing Swedavia in a professional manner. The main task is to schedule and conduct Teams interviews.

The work will be intensive, and you may have many interviews in succession during a work shift. To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and have a strong desire to help out wherever needed. It is important to us that you have a good sense of service and are responsible, as you will be accountable for a critical aspect of the recruitment process.

Requirements

Who are you? You do not need prior experience in recruitment or have conducted interviews yourself. We will train you and provide an opportunity to gain insight into working with volume recruitments.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is studying or has recently completed a human resources program or equivalent HR studies at a university. By the time you start with us, you should have completed at least three semesters.
  • Can speak and write Swedish fluently, as well as communicate comfortably in English.
  • Has a clear interest in recruitment and is curious about how the process works.
  • Quickly understands instructions, templates, and new digital tools.
  • Is positive, proactive, and flexible in day-to-day tasks.
  • Enjoys a busy environment with many contacts.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience working at an airport.
  • Had part-time jobs, internships, or written your thesis in recruitment.

Interview Process

If you progress in the process, the interview will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at Stockholm Arlanda. You need to be available on this date to be considered for the position.

The work consists of approximately 14–16 hours per week from January to March. You need to be able to work three to four days a week during the day and be on site at Arlanda at least two days per week. Due to the short and intensive period, only a few days off will be permitted.

Recruitment Process

For an objective and fair recruitment process, we use psychological tests as part of the selection procedure.

Since airports are security-sensitive operations, all candidates who proceed in the recruitment process will undergo a background check. Certain positions may also require a security clearance. Swedavia is also a drug-free workplace with a zero-tolerance policy regarding drugs. Drug tests are conducted prior to employment and randomly during employment.
