About the Position:
The client is a young, active woman who can walk independently but lacks verbal communication. She understands everything said to her in a good tone and uses pictures, TAKK, and a tablet as communication support.
As a personal assistant, you will help her with everything from personal care to communication, training, and various daily routines and activities.
In this role, it is important that you can handle stressful situations, especially when unexpected events arise. You will be her voice in the surrounding environment and therefore need to be confident, patient, and attentive.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is active, can swim, creative, and can contribute new activities
- Is pedagogical in their approach and can be open and engaging
- Is receptive and attentive to non-verbal communication
- Can work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
- Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
- Is a non-smoker
- Does not have allergies to fur animals - a cat lives in the home
- Experience with TAKK, a driver's license, or Spanish language skills are meritorious.
Client's Interests:
The client enjoys cinema, swimming pool, gymnastics, music, and meeting friends. As an assistant, you will accompany and participate in these activities – therefore, it is important that you share an interest in an active and playful daily life.
