Danderyd Municipality's newly built short-term accommodation Idun opened in September and is now seeking part-time assistant nurses. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Obtaining a short-term placement requires a care decision. Short-term accommodation can be an option after a hospital stay, while waiting for an offer of care and nursing accommodation, if the individual has difficulty managing at home and/or needs rehabilitation after a hospital stay that cannot be addressed in their own home. Working as a part-time assistant nurse in short-term accommodation requires you to handle a highly variable workload and quickly adapt your work as residents moving in have different care needs. As an assistant nurse, you will work collaboratively with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. It is not uncommon for residents to arrive with multiple diagnoses, requiring you to have various medical delegations. We operate based on a rehabilitative and person-centered approach, which means that as an assistant nurse, you will provide support in daily activities and encourage residents to remain as active as possible in their daily lives, with the individual's needs at the center. QUALIFICATIONS • Certified assistant nurse with a protected professional title. • Several years of experience working in care and nursing accommodation, geriatric hospital departments, or short-term accommodation. • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • Good IT skills and experience with handling digital systems. As an assistant nurse, you have a strong commitment to people and a positive outlook. You adapt your approach to the situation and show care for our residents. You convey calm and security and can meet people in various situations professionally. You work in a structured manner and feel confident in prioritizing tasks, as well as having the ability to make independent decisions. You should be responsive to our residents' needs and have a good manner. Furthermore, it is important that you are engaged in your work. You have good collaboration skills and can work both independently and as part of a team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
