Then this is the position for you! We are currently looking for a driven and independent employee to join our supervisory team. About the position As a supervisory case officer, you will be part of a team of six colleagues and will independently handle cases submitted by the public. You will be responsible for driving various supervisory matters from initiation to closure, which may involve illegal construction, hazardous vegetation, or accessibility issues. You will collaborate closely with your immediate colleagues, supporting each other throughout the case processing. Legal security and professionalism are key principles for our supervision. The Building and Environmental Committee is responsible for environmental and health protection, as well as matters relating to the Planning and Building Act and the Planning and Building Ordinance. This includes naming streets, nature conservation, and food safety supervision. The committee is referred to in various regulations when it states that a specific task lies with the municipal committee responsible for environmental and health protection. The committee is also responsible for fulfilling the tasks assigned to the municipality and building committee according to the Planning and Building Act, the Planning and Building Ordinance, and regulations issued under the Planning and Building Act, except for those tasks that, according to another committee's regulations, should be carried out by that committee. Furthermore, the committee is responsible for other tasks that, according to different regulations, should be performed by the municipal committee within the building sector. Examples of work tasks: • Independently processing cases • Conducting site visits with a colleague • Liaison with citizens • Drafting service letters • Presenting cases to the committee About the workplace Our department is part of the Environmental and City Planning Administration. You communicate clearly and ensure your messages reach the recipient correctly. You take significant responsibility for driving your cases forward and have the ability to calmly and confidently meet and guide our citizens in situations they may find stressful. To thrive in this position, you should be able to independently plan and structure your work effectively. You are also detail-oriented and possess the ability to analyze and break down problems into their components to solve complex issues. You have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with citizens, the committee, and other staff as required by the operations. Personal suitability is of great importance to us.
