Our vision is an open and inclusive Sweden with good conditions for youth and civil society. MUCF is commissioned by the government to work towards achieving the goals of youth policy and civil society policy by developing, gathering, and disseminating knowledge and contributing to the coordination of state efforts. MUCF has an office in Växjö and will also have an office in Stockholm from January 2026. The department's main tasks include handling organizational grants, operational grants, and project grants for the agency's various target groups. Job Responsibilities The primary tasks include processing national grant applications and reports from organizations seeking organizational, project, and operational grants based on existing ordinances and regulations. More information at www.mucf.se. Processing is done in collaboration with colleagues and with support from various agency functions. The work involves maintaining contact with applicants and actors interested in our grants. You will be active in monitoring the external environment and able to handle difficult and complex cases with the help of colleagues and by independently researching relevant areas and seeking information. The work in the state grants department is event-driven, and you need to have a dynamic approach to incoming assignments and be able to take on tasks as required by the current operations. Qualifications You have a relevant university or college education (of at least 180 higher education credits (120 points)) in subjects such as political science, law, economics, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. We prefer candidates with current work experience in processing state grants at a government agency or other public organization. Work at an organization that applies for or receives public grants is meritorious. Furthermore, you should have a documented interest and preferably knowledge of one or more of our work areas: civil society organizations, democracy-promoting work, work against racism and extremism, integration issues, religious communities, national minorities, and Sweden's youth and civil society policy. In the selection and appointment process, great importance will be placed on your experience with state grant applications. You should be able to interact with different target groups appropriately based on their conditions and needs. This is achieved through good collaborative abilities both internally and externally, and through a relationship-building and networking approach. You are structured and flexible in your work and can follow processes and routine descriptions. You feel comfortable participating in new contexts and feel confident representing the agency in a professional and trustworthy manner. Crucial characteristics are that you are driven and initiative-taking, and can take personal responsibility for independently working with various processes. You are attentive, active in meetings, and contribute to a good collaborative climate. Great importance will be placed on the aforementioned qualities. You can express yourself very well verbally and in writing in Swedish. You also have good skills in the Office package and are accustomed to familiarizing yourself with various data systems. When applying, attach your CV in Swedish. In this recruitment, we do not use a cover letter, so do not attach one to your application.
