About this role
We are looking for a Test Lead for public transport services at a government authority within traffic. This is a consulting assignment based in Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork.
Assignment
As a senior tester, you will be a key player in an agile development team, responsible for ensuring quality and performance throughout the development chain. The role includes both the development and testing of a new traffic management solution, including custom-developed web applications, microservices, and a procured backend system. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the automated testing infrastructure that underpins system development.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design/develop, and execute component tests and integration tests for both frontend and backend.
- Lead and conduct exploratory and flow-based API and integration tests (end-to-end) within your own system and in conjunction with adjacent IT systems.
- Develop, maintain, and implement automated tests using tools such as Cypress and Playwright.
- Utilize TDD methodology to create both production code and test code, including mocking.
- Develop performance tests and simulate load while ensuring tests for common vulnerabilities according to, for example, OWASP Top 10.
- Work closely with developers, project management, and other stakeholders to ensure high testability and quality in the solutions.
Requirements (Note: Mandatory)
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- At least nine (9) years of professional experience as a system tester, including planning, design, execution, and reporting of functional and non-functional tests.
- At least four (4) years of experience in planning, creating, and executing automated tests in modern testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent).
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in system development in .NET and C# over the past six years.
- At least three (3) years of experience testing microservices in container environments (e.g., Docker or equivalent).
- At least two (2) years of experience working with test-driven development (TDD).
- At least two (2) years of professional experience ensuring quality assurance in a CI/CD context with pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience performing testing of systems using message queues such as Rabbit MQ or equivalent.
Meritorious
- At least one ISTQB foundation certification.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience in Accessibility testing according to WCAG 2.1 AA.
- At least two (2) years of experience working as a tester on assignments for the public sector.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience in load and vulnerability testing.
