Our client is a technical consulting company collaborating with some of Sweden's leading players in the automotive, defense, and energy technology industries, such as Volvo Trucks, SAAB, Husqvarna, and Vattenfall. The position is a direct recruitment, meaning the recruitment process is conducted through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client.
About the position:
• You will be part of a technical team working on system and production testing of trucks and other advanced systems within the automotive and defense industries, as well as the energy sector.
• The role involves both office work and on-site work with clients, with the opportunity to drive your own technical solutions and lead field testing.
• You will utilize and develop your skills in mechatronics, electronics, and embedded systems, focusing on troubleshooting diagnostic data, system-level code, and software updates in complex systems.
We prefer that you have worked in one of the following roles or similar:
• Test Lead / Test Engineer
• Embedded Developer
• Mechatronics Engineer
• Systems Engineer / Electrical Designer / Technical Project Manager
• Testing Engineer / Verification Lead / Technical Project Manager
• Electronics Designer / Hardware Designer
We are looking for someone who:
• Has 3–10 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and system-level work within Embedded systems, electronics, and/or mechatronics.
• Has experience with diagnostic data from vehicles and trucks, can interpret signals, and suggest actions.
• Has an interest in the defense industry, automotive industry, or energy sector (e.g., electricity production and energy systems).
• Holds a relevant university degree or engineering degree.
• Is a Swedish citizen, technically inclined, and problem-solving oriented with good safety awareness.
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and has a B driver's license.
