About the Job
As a Test Automation Specialist, you'll be part of an agile development team collectively responsible for developing and managing new and existing software services, ultimately contributing to a well-functioning society. We work according to the SAFe framework, and the team is part of a train developing the Swedish electoral system delivered by the Swedish Tax Agency to the Election Authority. The train currently consists of approximately 65 people distributed across eight teams and train management. You'll work cross-functionally, helping each other across competence areas to ensure deliveries.
You'll work on varied tasks focusing on testing in modern development environments, platforms, and tools. The technical environment includes microservices, Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle Db, Angular, Springboot, and JavaScript.
You'll be responsible for the team's testing activities by planning, designing, and conducting various types of tests. This is to ensure that the systems and services we develop and manage function correctly. You'll thrive in a central role where you can see both the big picture and the details, ensuring high test automation rates and striving towards shift-left principles.

About You

You should also have:
- Relevant post-secondary education in IT, or several years of relevant professional experience in the IT field
- Several years of current and relevant professional experience in planning, designing, executing, and analyzing automated tests
- Several years of current and relevant professional experience with agile testing methodology
- Several years of current and relevant professional experience in configuring test environments and managing test data
It is desirable that you have current and relevant professional experience with databases. Experience working with development in object-oriented languages is also welcome. We also appreciate current and relevant experience with security testing and/or penetration testing. Current and relevant experience working in a larger organization is also desirable.
Good to Know
The position is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
Employment may involve placement in a security class. A security review with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted before a hiring decision. Some tasks in the security class require Swedish citizenship.
