RESPONSIBILITIES As part of our expansion in the Telecom area, we are seeking driven Telecom Technicians who want to be part of Division Technology's growth journey. In the role of Telecom Technician, you will be part of a team working with operations, maintenance, standard improvement, and new construction. Traffic safety is directly dependent on the facilities functioning, and therefore the work is responsible, with safety always taking precedence. We are seeking personnel for multiple locations in Sweden due to several nationwide projects. The locations we are hiring for are Luleå, Gällivare, Umeå, Kiruna, Skåne, Hallsberg, and Stockholm South. The eventual placement location will be determined based on proximity to one of Infranord's establishments with existing telecom personnel and your/the applicant's place of residence. The position requires flexibility as travel and work during nights and weekends are part of the job description. On-call duty at home may occur. We are seeking someone who enjoys a varied work approach and is solution-oriented even in more complex situations. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking candidates who have: • Approved high school education in electrical engineering. Preferably with telecom specialization. Alternatively, fiber or what we assess as equivalent experience • Manual B driver's license • Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have: • Post-secondary education in railway-specific telecom technology • Experience working with telecom technology in the railway industry • Experience in data/telecommunications and low-current work • Work experience in fiber technology • Certification in fiber technology ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Infranord is Sweden's largest railway contractor and a growing player in Norway.
