The telephone exchange is a department within the Shared Service Center in the Administration of Regionservice. The department operates all telephone exchanges in Region Örebro County, 24/7, throughout the year. Our team consists of 30 employees, based primarily at Örebro University Hospital, and we are currently seeking an employee for a permanent position.

**Introduction and Setup**
The position begins with an introductory training program lasting approximately 8 weeks. Working hours are varied, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, approximately one weekend every three weeks.
Within the Shared Service Center, there are departments including Service Center, Telephone Exchange, HR Administration, Finance Department, Regional Archive, and Registration, as well as Payroll and Pension Administration. The Shared Service Center offers you a professional workplace that is development-oriented and values smart, efficient solutions. Our guiding principle is: digital first! **Duties**
As a member of the team, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure that the operator function operates optimally. Employees in the Telephone Exchange carry a high level of responsibility. Your duties will include, among others:
- Receiving and forwarding calls to the correct unit/extension
- Handling emergency alarms - Receiving, relaying, and documenting emergency alerts
- Initiating, monitoring, and documenting emergency situations and extraordinary events within Region Örebro County
- Performing person searches
- Providing general information to citizens and operations
- Delivering information support during extraordinary events
- Arranging for language interpreters during on-call hours

**Qualifications**
You have at least a high school education and a strong interest in service and customer interaction. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably from a switchboard or telephone support, is essential. You are attentive, have good empathic abilities, inspire trust, and build strong relationships. You take significant responsibility and possess a high capacity for multitasking. You have a strong desire to develop in your job and can handle shifts in pace. We place great importance on your social skills and personal qualities, your ability to collaborate, and your capability to work independently. You should be able to express yourself well in both written and spoken Swedish.
