Technical Tester at Quest Consulting

Assignment Description The client is in the process of implementing a large standard system for their insurance operations and is now seeking a senior consultant to strengthen the testing efforts. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in testing large-scale system implementations and who has worked within the insurance sector with the specific core platform and with customer documents related to a document management/print management system. It is highly advantageous if you possess technical understanding in combination with your insurance expertise and have experience with XML, an API testing tool (preferably ReadyAPI or similar), as well as test automation. You will be part of one of the agile development teams driving the implementation of the core platform and will support the project with your expertise to ensure that the project meets its set goals and timelines. You should be solution-oriented, unpretentious, and enjoy working collaboratively towards common objectives. The ability to see solutions where others see problems is important. Examples of tasks: • Create test cases based on requirements and system configuration. • Mapping of XML structures. • Support the teams with knowledge of the core platform and testing methodology. • Validate XML to the document management system and PDF from it. • Perform SQL-based test data queries in the core platform. • Assist in the creation and validation of API calls. Mandatory Requirements • High competence in the relevant field and 6–10 years of experience as a consultant in the relevant area. • Solid knowledge of testing processes and experience in planning and executing test cases. • Experience in the insurance sector, customer documents, agreements, occupational pensions, and capital insurance. • Experience working with Lumera and knowledge of Lumera's processes. • Understanding of Lumera's testing environments and management of Lumera's release processes. • Experience working with Metaforce/Centerpoint. • Basic SQL skills. • Knowledge of API calls, preferably SOAP-UI and/or Ready-API. • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr. • Experience in agile system development (preferably according to SAFe) with a focus on testing.
