Job Description
Are you an engineer passionate about technology, wanting to take responsibility for our product flight safety and develop in a key role with us at the Trollhättan site? We are looking for someone who can strengthen our team with your commitment and expertise!
In the Hot Structures & Cases Center of Excellence (CoE) department, we work on developing new products and managing products in service for civil programs. As Engineering Team Lead, you will have a central role where you contribute your experience and expertise to the design team in pursuit of established goals. Together with the team, you will develop plans and ensure we deliver according to time, quality, and expectations. You will collaborate with a cross-functional design team where different competencies work together to achieve success.
A significant part of the work involves building relationships and communicating – both internally with other functions and externally with customers and suppliers. The role offers you the opportunity to grow, broaden your knowledge, and develop within our design organization.
Responsibilities and expectations include:
• Planning, driving, and leading the design team to deliver the right quality at the right time
• Analysis and breakdown of requirements to create a balanced product based on technical requirements, manufacturability, and cost
• Identifying resource needs to efficiently execute assignments
• Planning and documenting product verification and certification
• Conducting technical reviews, both internally and externally
• Driving design changes, repair proposals, and manual development
• Managing outstanding deviations from our manufacturing, external suppliers, and in-service
Additionally, you are expected to actively contribute to the department's goals, strategy, and continuous improvement efforts.

You feel comfortable communicating with different functions, both internally within the company and externally with customers and suppliers. Moreover, you contribute to a positive atmosphere and serve as an inspiring role model for the team.
Requirements for the position:
• Engineering degree (BSc or equivalent)
• Experience in team/project management
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
