Scania Sverige AB is a company within the Scania Group and a distributor of Scania's products and services in the Swedish market. Scania Sverige is responsible for a wide range of products and services, including sales and service through a dealer network comprising approximately 90 Scania facilities and 2,000 employees, nearly 1,000 of whom work in the company's own dealership operations in the metropolitan regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, as well as in Gävleborg, Dalarna, Södermanland, and Västmanland. The headquarters is located in Stockholm, Kungens Kurva. In 2024, Scania Sverige registered over 2,300 heavy vehicles, becoming the market leader in Sweden with a market share of 48.7%.
About the Role
The Technical Support department at Scania Sverige AB supports our dealers regarding the vehicles and services that Scania provides in the Swedish market. The group currently consists of eleven individuals. Our technical specialist for bus bodies is leaving the company, and we are now seeking his successor.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for communication with the dealer network in Sweden. You will have frequent contact with them regarding quality deviations within your area of responsibility. You will assist in initiating and leading technical investigations and deliver technical and commercial solutions. You will participate in regional meetings and similar service market activities. We have dealers throughout the country, and you are expected to support them on-site, which entails frequent travel.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have solid technical knowledge and experience. You possess a technical college education or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with bus bodies, electrified drivetrains, and experience with Scania systems FRAS, SWS/SDP3 is highly advantageous. Key attributes for this role include social competence, responsiveness, and commitment. You are analytical, structured, and proactive. You are comfortable making quick, and sometimes tough, commercial decisions. Naturally, you are a good team player as we work daily on knowledge exchange within the group.
A B driver's license is a requirement, and having a D driver's license is an advantage. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
