ABOUT THE POSITION
Hydri Group is in an exciting growth phase and is now seeking a Technical Specialist who wants to be part of the company's journey, shape the role, and contribute technical competence. In this broad and developmental role, you will combine deep technical expertise with holistic thinking, from early concepts to completed facilities. As Technical Specialist, you will report to the company's CTO and become a key person in ongoing projects from the start, in close collaboration with the company's project manager.
Your work tasks include evaluating technical solutions and suppliers, such as selection of compressors, fueling station solutions, and other equipment with a focus on operational reliability and efficiency. You will develop technical specifications and procurement documentation, review documents like P&ID, data sheets, and manuals, participate in risk analyses, and perform technical calculations, such as gas phase flow calculations. Furthermore, you will participate in supplier visits, FAT, SAT, and commissioning processes.
You will work closely with both internal colleagues and external parties, such as suppliers and subcontractors. The work alternates between office environments, supplier visits, and site visits to facilities, providing a varied daily routine with significant technical responsibility. The role suits someone who enjoys juggling multiple tasks, can shift focus as needed, and is driven by practical technical challenges.

WORK TASKS
Work Tasks
* Evaluate technical solutions and suppliers, such as selection of compressors, fueling station solutions, and other equipment
* Develop technical specifications
* Review technical documents from suppliers and subcontractors, such as P&ID schemas, data sheets, and manuals, to ensure technical coherence and requirement compliance
* Participate in risk analyses and perform technical calculations, such as gas phase flow calculations
* Actively participate during supplier visits
* Visit existing and new sites, such as fueling stations and production facilities, to familiarize with facilities in detail and contribute to knowledge transfer between projects
* Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning to ensure equipment and systems function correctly before and after installation
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Process, Energy, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, such as process engineer, maintenance manager, or energy engineer
- Have documented experience from the process industry, preferably in energy, oil, or gas industries
- Have good understanding of ATEX-classified environments
- Have good and advanced Excel skills
- Have very good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Possess a Class B driver's license
