About the Role
As a Signal Technical Expert, you will work with the technical deliveries of our projects within the signal area.
You are involved throughout the entire chain – from early investigations, calculations, and system design to verification, validation, and handover to management.
In close collaboration with project managers, suppliers, and other experts, you ensure that technical solutions meet requirements and standards with sustainability and long-term perspective. You will also become a crucial link for cross-departmental cooperation, contributing to creating consensus, sharing knowledge, and finding common solutions.
Some examples of work tasks:
- Participate in system design and technical choices
- Ensure project deliveries meet requirements, standards, and impact goals
- Identify and analyze technical risks and contribute to solutions
- Develop and refine methods for technical deliveries

Requirements:
- Several years of experience with signal systems in railway, tram, or metro (or what the transport administration deems equivalent)
- Experience with one of the following systems: Computer-based or relay-based signal interlocking, operation/traffic management systems, on-board systems
- Knowledge of RAMS or EN standard 50126, 50128, 50129
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience in development and/or integration of a signal system
- Experience with signal system requirement development
- Higher education in a relevant field
- Experience with system validation/verification, inspection, documentation creation, requirement setting, review
- Knowledge of lifecycle management and management perspective
- Understanding of systems of systems and complex systems and their synergies and interactions
- Knowledge of project as a working form
- Ability to express yourself in English regarding technical issues with suppliers
