Here, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise, influence working methods, and contribute to solutions that make a real difference for society. **Technical Specialist in Hydrogeology** **Job Responsibilities** Hydrogeology within the Swedish Transport Administration's construction projects involves investigating and understanding the hydrogeological conditions for the construction, as well as managing risks associated with groundwater impact and its consequences for the project and the surrounding environment. As a hydrogeology specialist, you will support and guide projects throughout the entire process, with a particular focus on permits for water activities related to groundwater drainage. You will review and approve hydrogeology deliverables based on quality, legal compliance, and regulatory requirements. Since groundwater issues often involve multiple disciplines, you will work closely with environmental, legal, geotechnical, rock engineering, and drainage teams. An important part of the role is to contribute to the development of methodologies and strategies within hydrogeology, drive research and innovation issues, participate in collaboration with authorities, and share experiences between projects.
