About this role

About the Role The role encompasses everything from system design and requirements specification to review, validation, and project handover to operations and management. You will coordinate technical issues, ensure high-quality delivery, and contribute to creating long-term, efficient, and secure solutions. As a technical expert, you will closely collaborate with project managers, specialists, and other technical experts in signal, track, and facility areas. You will also become a crucial link for cross-departmental cooperation, contributing to creating consensus, sharing knowledge, and finding common solutions. Together, you will help create modern and operationally reliable facilities, depots, and stations. Some examples of work tasks: - Participate in developing system design and technical solutions based on current conditions and future needs - Ensure deliveries meet requirements and standards - Review and follow up on technical documentation, participate in tests, validation, and verification - Identify risks and contribute to solutions that enhance safety and efficiency - Coordinate and sometimes lead other technical experts or consultants within projects To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to: Be meticulous and collaborative with a genuine interest in technology's role in society. Requirements: - Several years of experience in infrastructure or construction industry (depots and stations) - Knowledge of AMA and construction documentation processes Advantageous if you have: - Experience with 400V, rectifier stations, or overhead contact lines - Experience in developing system or construction documentation in electrical areas - Experience in system validation/verification, inspection, documentation development, requirements specification, review - Higher education in a relevant field - Knowledge of lifecycle management and management perspective - Understanding of systems of systems and complex systems and their synergies and interactions - Knowledge of project work methods - Ability to express yourself in English regarding technical issues with suppliers What We Offer: At the Traffic Administration, you have the opportunity to grow and develop for an entire professional life.
