About this role
We are looking for a Technical Specialist in Rock and Production for an authority within traffic. This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork.
**The Assignment**
The role involves being an expert in rock engineering and production-related issues within the project organization. The function supports the project through technical expertise in tunneling, rock production, and regulations, as well as coordinating reviews and participating in internal and external meetings. The role reports to the Technical and Production Coordinator and serves as an important link between design, production, and relevant stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**
- Support the project with technical expertise in tunneling and other rock production-related issues.
- Assist production with contract-related matters, gather documentation from contractors, and lead production meetings.
- Review and coordinate rock review documents and GK3 reviews.
- Support the design phase with rock engineering expertise.
- Lead development projects within the field of rock technology.
- Interpret regulatory issues during the design and production phases.
- Participate in internal project meetings and external meetings with, for example, property owners and authorities.
**Requirements (Mandatory)**
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Road and Water).
- At least 5 years of experience in tunneling in a client role for tunnel projects exceeding 1 billion.
- At least 2 years of experience in tunneling in a leading role as a contractor for tunnel projects.
- At least 6 years of experience working as a control manager for rock documents and coordinating GK3 reviews.
- At least 6 years of experience working as a technical specialist in a client role.
**Desirable**
- Experience as a project manager in at least 2 development projects within rock technology.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing regulations in a client role for management organizations.
- At least 3 years of experience providing rock engineering support in a client role in early stages (location studies or system documentation).
