Technical Specialist – Infrastructure Monitoring and Traffic Information (Railway)
We are seeking an experienced technical specialist who wants to work long-term as a consultant in one of Sweden's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. The role involves working closely and long-term with the client's technical and project organization in the field of infrastructure monitoring and traffic information. You will be a key person in reviewing, defining requirements, and coordinating advanced system solutions.

**Assignment Duration**
The assignment starts on February 1, 2026, and initially extends until January 31, 2029. There is then the possibility of an extension of up to an additional two years. This means that the assignment can last for up to approximately five years if all parties are satisfied with each other.
**Responsibilities**
• Develop and review technical requirements and documentation within infrastructure monitoring, traffic information systems, camera surveillance, alarm and access control systems, and vehicle detectors
• Participate in the work with design, review, and formal technical deliveries
• Support project managers and technical areas in matters concerning requirements specification, procurement techniques, and change management
• Follow up on variable tag lists and operation cards (PLC) and ensure correct system integration
• Plan and coordinate the integration of new systems into national monitoring and traffic information platforms
• Collaborate with operations and management organizations for future commissioning
• Participate in sub-project meetings and, if necessary, lead or distribute work within Tele-IT
• Contribute to work on tunnel safety and related technical solutions
• Be an active knowledge bearer and ensure that technical decisions are based on the right standards and practices
**Workplace and Scope**
• Placement at project offices in Solna, Norrköping, Nyköping, or Linköping
• Regular travel between locations is included in the role
• Some opportunity for remote work depending on project phase and tasks
• Scope: Full-time
**Requirements (Must-Haves)**
To be considered, you must meet all of the following requirements:
• Relevant higher education (at least 180 ECTS) in engineering, e.g., automation, systems engineering, SCADA/ICS, DCS, or equivalent
• At least 4 years of documented experience from infrastructure projects in the railway sector
• At least 5 years of experience in design, programming, implementation, requirements specification, or integration of infrastructure monitoring systems
• Documented knowledge of AB04 and ABK09, or willingness to take supplementary courses within six months
• Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Good English in both spoken and written form
**Desirable Experience (Merit Requirements)**
• Experience in requirements specification for infrastructure monitoring in a railway environment and experience in estimating costs related to requirements
• Experience with SCADA systems and GELD or equivalent tools
• Experience with information systems such as dynamic signs, PA systems, or voice emulators (e.g., JÄRDA)
• Experience working in a client organization or reviewing technical documents from contractors and consultants
• Experience in integration with national or central monitoring or information systems
