Jefferson Wells is now seeking a driven and solution-oriented consultant for an exciting assignment with one of our industry clients in central Örnsköldsvik. You will have a central role in production, combining technical knowledge with leadership close to the operation.
About the Role
As a technical coordinator, you are the hub of daily work in the department. You will distribute work tasks, support colleagues with problems, and ensure that production runs with high quality and good efficiency. The role involves both technical work, coordination, and administrative tasks, and you will be an important link between production and the production manager. The assignment is on a consulting basis, starting as soon as possible. The assignment is 100% and initially runs for 1 year. For the right person, the assignment may be extended and potentially transition to direct employment with the client company.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Lead morning meetings with team leaders and ensure daily management
* Distribute work tasks and provide support for issues like incorrect time stamping, machine stops, and structural changes
* Collaborate with design to develop improvements in production output and product quality
* Follow up on safety and protection issues and actively work with risks, incidents, and improvement meetings
* Provide technical support on production-related issues
* Administrative and practical support to production management
* Propose repair priorities to the production manager
* Ensure accuracy of attendance and work time stamps
* Ensure revisions and improvement work proceed according to plan
* Ensure correct orders are run at the right time
* Ensure the department follows applicable environmental requirements and guidelines
* Always consider environmental impact and minimize load where possible
* Order spare parts and accessories within budget
* Plan and manage compensatory time and reduced working hours in consultation with production manager
* Lead and distribute resources within the department
Your Background
We are seeking candidates who have:
* High school workshop training or equivalent competence
* Good knowledge of Swedish and English
* Experience with ERP systems and good computer skills, especially in Excel and Word
* Good knowledge of production, such as welding, forming, or machining
