CHS Controls is currently at a stage where we need to strengthen our sales team in Helsingborg with a new colleague, a technical salesperson who, in the long term, also desires to work in the field and visit our customers. CHS Controls is a small, stable, and successful Swedish company in Helsingborg. The company offers equipment for the electrical power and automation industry in collaboration with world-leading, quality-conscious manufacturers. Our goal is to provide modern products and solutions to our customers with a high level of service and reliable, stable deliveries. We see ourselves as problem solvers, not just product suppliers. Role of Technical Salesperson at CHS Controls As a technical salesperson, you will engage in consultative technical sales of CHS Controls’ product range to the company’s customers primarily in the Nordic region. Your responsibilities will include active sales efforts targeting both new and existing customers. You will handle inquiries, develop technical solutions, and perform calculations. The role also encompasses other sales administration tasks, preparing quotes, documentation, and managing orders within an existing sales team. This is a perfect role for you who wish to develop your competence in the company's product areas, gradually growing into the role of a complete technical salesperson (inside and outside sales). You will receive a comprehensive introduction to the products and the technology sold, all to meet customer expectations. You will become a specialist in creating long-term, profitable relationships with our customers, based on your experiences and the company’s knowledge. Required Experience To become successful and thrive in this role, we prefer you have a technical education background in the electrical field, combined with a few years of documented experience as a technical salesperson in B2B. You are naturally skilled at using Office programs and Pyramid or equivalent BMS systems. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, at a professional level, and you hold a valid driver’s license (B category). Your Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, it is important that you enjoy being in an organization where you can take ownership of your work. As a person, you possess good empathetic and social skills and excel at building long-term relationships. You enjoy communicating with customers and are motivated to work in a technically advisory role. You have a strong interest in the customer and focus on delivering effective technical solutions of high quality. You are a team player who sees the benefit for the entire company while also being able to work independently. Since the position will eventually include field sales, it is essential that you have a personal situation that allows for travel as part of the job.
