Technical Project Manager - Underwater Systems Development Are you an engineer with experience in technical project management and want to contribute to developing advanced underwater systems that strengthen Sweden's capabilities below the surface? As a technical project manager with us, you will have a key role in transforming technology and innovation into reality. About the Position As a technical project manager, you will lead the technical work within complex development projects – from early concepts to verified system solutions. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor project progress, ensure milestones are achieved on schedule, verify that technical requirements and specifications are met, and maintain the highest quality of deliveries. As a technical project manager, you will be the link between technology, quality, and delivery, where your technical expertise and comprehensive perspective will be most valuable in projects. As a technical project manager, you will work closely with suppliers and partners to ensure each system component functions as intended, using your experience to drive smart, sustainable, and reliable solutions. You will analyze project documentation to develop decision-making support that supports project implementation and goals. Together with your project team, you will develop the requirements specification for the new system. About You We are seeking candidates with a civil or university engineering degree in naval architecture, vehicle technology, marine engineering, or other relevant education, or equivalent competence acquired through alternative means. Additionally, you should have project management training or equivalent knowledge. You will have multiple years of relevant and current knowledge and experience in project management and/or project tracking. To succeed in the role, it is necessary to have multiple years of experience in design and/or design work from large industrial projects. It is meritorious to have knowledge and experience working in the technical area of underwater systems and/or technical system work. We view experience in submarine development and/or submarine operations or ship development and/or ship operations positively. Experience in quality work and negotiations is advantageous. Knowledge of systems engineering is meritorious. The position requires excellent Swedish and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
