Job Responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with projects and are expected to spend time with customers where you are the connecting link between customers, colleagues, and subcontractors. The role also requires business acumen where you are expected to provide consultative additional sales. When the project is complete, you are responsible for the handover to service and internal project feedback. In the role, you are also responsible for initiating project startup, conducting a risk analysis, and continuously following up to ensure that projects comply with risk and safety rules and requirements.
• Lead and coordinate Schneider Electric's contracting with customers and internally, and act as an agent
• Responsible for planning the project internally and externally, and ensure delivery according to contract
• Responsible for finances, procurement of subcontractors, electrical installation, control cabinets, materials, etc.
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
• Post-secondary technical education, such as in automation, electrical engineering, or civil engineering
• We believe you are currently working as a project manager in a similar technical industry, such as power supply or telecom, or that you are already working in the same industry as Schneider but have not yet taken the step to project manager, perhaps having worked as a project engineer or technician for 3-5 years and wanting to move up
• Meriting is an overall understanding of HVAC systems and/or SCADA, and experience working with AB04 and ABT-06
• Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Driver's license B
As a project manager, you have a strong technical interest with the ability to plan and execute your work independently. Through projects, you will have many contact surfaces that require good communication skills and collaboration with both colleagues and partners. The role requires good problem-solving skills and the ability to drive your work forward. You work in a process-oriented manner and have a good sense of quality and completing your assignments thoroughly.
