**Presentation**
MKB Net is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a permanent full-time position. The start date can be adjusted according to your current notice period.
MKB Net is part of MKB's business development unit and consists of a team of 11 people. The company owns and operates a state-of-the-art city network that delivers internet and TV to over 29,000 customers through various service providers. MKB Net is responsible for both wired and wireless communication solutions across the entire MKB Group. The department is characterized by short decision-making paths and a working style based on energy, engagement, openness, and good communication. We focus on building relationships, increasing engagement, and driving work towards common goals together.
**Your Responsibilities**
As a Technical Project Manager with us, you will be responsible for leading technical projects with clarity, commitment, and a strong dose of personality. The role offers excellent opportunities for development where technology, leadership, and communication converge.
You will drive projects from start to finish, focusing on results, coordinating, and motivating cross-functional teams. Your role also involves being the communicative link between stakeholders, creating structure, driving improvements, and taking initiatives to develop the business. Responsibilities include, among others, the installation of communication infrastructure in properties and city networks, procurement and implementation of products and services, customer-specific projects, as well as business development and efficiency improvements. This will be done alongside a competent team and a culture that encourages initiative, flexible working methods, and a focus on personal development.
**Your Background**
We are looking for an engineer with documented experience in managing projects, taking responsibility, and simultaneously building strong working relationships. We seek someone who is both technically proficient and possesses good social skills—a project manager motivated by collaboration, clear communication, helping colleagues develop, and continuously working on improvements. Relevant education and experience in project management are required, and certification in the field is an advantage. Experience in IT, telecommunications, and/or city networks is also a plus.
Furthermore, experience in requirement specification for suppliers, outsourcing partners, and public procurement is particularly valuable, as it will help you quickly acclimate to the role. Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as well as good skills in using the Office suite. A valid driver's license (B category) is also a requirement.
**About MKB**
MKB is one of Sweden's largest public housing companies with 390 employees and is owned by the city of Malmö. With nearly 27,000 apartments and 1,000 commercial spaces, we are the largest property company in Malmö. Our vision is “A Home for Everyone.” We work based on five strategies to achieve this: Attractive Landlord, New Construction at Reasonable Rent, Social Responsibility for Social Development, Environmental Sustainability, and an Efficient and Engaged Organization Driving Change. Each strategy has both short-term goals for each year and long-term goals for 2030.
We place great importance on creating both business value and social value, and we have three core values: courageous, simple, together, which form the basis of our daily work.
We actively work with gender equality and diversity issues and are proud to be the first LGBTQ-certified property company, now LGBTQI.
