Technical Project Manager

Our Systems Engineering division at Combitech is growing, and we are seeking a Technical Project Manager who wants to drive development projects at the cutting edge of technology. You have a background as a project manager, scrum master, or team leader - most importantly, you have technical understanding, leadership skills, and a clear delivery focus. In the role of technical project manager, you will lead technically complex projects in areas such as software, electronics, mechanics, or system integration. The role involves responsibility for planning, coordination, follow-up, and technical support - both internally and in dialogue with the customer. Assignments vary in form and location. Some are on-site with the customer, others in teams from one of our offices in Örebro, Karlskoga, or Karlstad. About the Role In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Drive projects from startup to delivery - Lead development teams, manage resources, and coach colleagues - Function as a scrum master in agile projects - Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders - Contribute technical understanding and system overview We Are Looking for Someone Who: - Has a relevant engineering education - Has several years of experience leading technical projects - Has good technical understanding - regardless of whether you come from software, electronics, mechanics, or systems engineering - Is structured, proactive, and communicative, enjoys creating order, building trust, and driving development forward Meritorious Experience: - Agile methods such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban - or traditional project methodology - Industry experience from defense, vehicles, energy, or industry-near development - Background as an engineer or developer in software, especially with experience in Java, C, or C++ - Certification as Scrum Master, PMP, IPMA, or Prince2 Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must pass and be approved in a security review with register control.
