ABOUT THE POSITION In the role of IoT Support Specialist in telecommunications, you will be responsible for delivering top-class service to Telenor Connexion's corporate customers by proactively identifying problems, troubleshooting to find root causes, and developing the best solutions. Customers use Telenor's services as the foundation for building their IoT products, with a strong emphasis on stability and functionality. The team works in shifts to staff telecommunications support that is open 24/7. The role thus involves a rotating shift schedule, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Broadly, the schedule consists of an 8-week rotation, with 4 weeks of normal daytime Monday to Friday, one week on call, and four weeks used to work three shift rotations. One rotation is Morning, Morning, Afternoon, Afternoon, Night, Night, followed by 3 days off. All work is performed at Telenor Connexion's office in Karlskrona. If you progress far in the process, the customer will conduct a background check including criminal record, security assessment, and health screening. RESPONSIBILITIES * 24/7 Technical Customer Support * Monitoring of core and international traffic * Customer contact with technical troubleshooting * Incident management, Problem management, Change management * Reporting and follow-up of relevant KPIs * Documentation of routines and processes WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Have a genuine interest in technology and are energized by helping others with your expertise - Have experience in service or customer support, preferably in IT - Are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written - Can be on-site within one hour during on-call shifts It is meritorious if you have - Work experience in a similar role within telecommunications, IT, and troubleshooting - Experience with IoT (Internet of Things) - Experience with APIs and SQL - Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing principles To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities: - Helpful - Organized - Responsible - Intellectually curious Our Recruitment Process This recruitment process is managed by Academic Work, and our client's wish is that all questions regarding the position be sent to Academic Work.
