About this role

About the Role Are you looking to combine technology and sales in an international role with high personal responsibility? As an Account Manager – OEM, Panel Builders at Secure Meters (Sweden) AB, you will be responsible for sales in the Nordic region (Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark). Your mission is to develop business and build long-term customer relationships with our OEM partners in the industry and energy sectors. The role involves driving the entire sales process – from prospecting and needs analysis to presentation, negotiation, and closing – of our technically advanced solutions where hardware and software converge. You will work independently, but closely with colleagues both in the Nordic region and internationally, and travel approximately 2-3 days per week with overnight stays to meet customers and partners. Here, you will have a key role in a global company with high-tech focus and strong emphasis on innovation, customer benefit, and sustainable solutions. Your Main Responsibilities: - Establish and develop business relationships with new and existing customers. - Identify customer needs and present solutions for both hardware and software. - Drive the entire sales process – from prospecting to closing and follow-up. - Create new business opportunities through partners, distributors, and key customers. - Develop strategic sales plans in collaboration with management to achieve set goals. - Stay updated on products, market trends, and competition. - Participate in industry fairs, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and strengthen the brand. - Ensure customer data, business reports, and forecasts are documented in the Salesforce CRM system. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - Post-secondary education in technology and/or sales. - 2-3 years of experience in technical sales of products or systems with long sales cycles. - Experience from the energy sector, electrical energy, automation, or other technically complex environments is meritorious. - Ability to understand and explain technical solutions in a pedagogical and customer-focused manner. - Good IT skills and experience working in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. - Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
