Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Purchaser at Sepson, you will work at the intersection of technology, logistics, and production planning - from business, purchasing, and delivery. The role combines operational purchasing and production technical responsibility. Through a proactive approach and close dialogue with other departments, you ensure that all prerequisites are in place before production starts. Your responsibilities include:
• Managing the purchasing of components, subcontractor services, and system solutions
• Evaluating, negotiating, and developing relationships with suppliers, both nationally and internationally
• Ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, with the right quality and cost
• Participating in quotation and contract work, as well as following up on price, quality, and delivery
• Proactively working on supplier assessments and risk analyses
• Collaborating with production on product changes and new product launches
• Contributing to an efficient production flow through planning and monitoring of capacity and delivery times
• Initiating and driving improvement projects related to purchasing, logistics, and Lean
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a technical post-secondary education or equivalent experience, preferably combined with several years of experience in technical purchasing or production planning. Experience with business systems, preferably Monitor, is highly valued. You have a technical inclination, knowledge of production flows, can read drawings, and have the ability to create long-term relationships – both internally and externally.
As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous. You find it easy to collaborate and are communicatively strong. For this role, proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
