Responsibilities and Duties
In the role of Technical Sales Manager, you will have a central and varied position where you work closely with both customers and colleagues in technology, production, and projects. You will be responsible for driving sales forward, developing business, and creating long-term customer relationships.
SPIRAC is currently in a growth phase, and this role is therefore important for strengthening the company's market presence and building a more proactive and structured sales organization. You will have significant authority to influence working methods, create structure, and contribute to the continued expansion.
You will lead and support the sales efforts, participate in customer meetings and technical discussions, and follow up on business and results. This role is suitable for you if you thrive at the intersection of technology and customer interaction, where you can use your understanding of technical solutions to create business and develop collaborations.
The tasks will vary and will include, among others:
- Leading and coaching the sales team while actively contributing to ongoing business and tender work.
- Developing and implementing working methods, processes, and routines for effective sales operations.
- Being responsible for the entire sales process from customer dialogue, quotation, and technical requirements to follow-up and handover to projects and production.
- Building and nurturing long-term customer relationships through meetings, presentations, technical reviews, and negotiations.
- Collaborating closely with technology, product development, and production, as well as representing SPIRAC at industry fairs and customer events.
Your Profile
You are an engaged and clear leader who thrives in an environment where technology meets business. You create structure and drive in sales efforts, are curious, responsible, and accustomed to working both strategically and operationally.
You collaborate with technology, production, and product development and have experience with customer contact at both operational and strategic levels. Your communication skills allow you to easily adapt to different target groups, and your technical interest enables you to quickly understand technical solutions and drawings.
The following qualifications are required for the role:
- Post-secondary technical education in mechanical engineering or industrial economics.
- Extensive experience in leading and coaching sales teams.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales.
- Experience with complex business, project sales, or system solutions.
- Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen – quotations, calculations, negotiations.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
