About the Department Technical and Maintenance Office for Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst) in Enköping and Stockholm consists of approximately 180 employees distributed across 7 departments. Our primary task is managing the Armed Forces' command and information systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to decommissioning, and we must be able to operate in peace, crisis, and war. Primary Work Tasks As a Technical System Leader (TSL), you have a central role in acquiring and managing assigned technical systems. You are a key actor in the long-term planning of the system's lifecycle. You will lead and participate in meetings with users, war organization, maintenance and management personnel, representatives from the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV), defense industry, and other total defense actors. You will be part of a section of 5-10 employees and will be based in Enköping. Work in other locations may occur, such as facility and operational visits. You need technical understanding, strong administrative skills, and the ability to oversee systems' entire lifespan. You also need the ability to summarize and draw conclusions from complex contexts and quickly adapt to changing circumstances. As a TSL, you will perform tasks such as: • Representing the Armed Forces during delivery reception from suppliers. • Planning, directing, ordering, and following up on operations and management. • Setting requirements and ensuring future materiel and systems are manageable. • Leading review and revision of technical documents. • Managing materiel deployment to war units. • Supporting other functions/roles outside the responsibility area. • Actively working on continuous operational improvements. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications • Academic education in technology, logistics, economics, or experience that the Armed Forces deems equivalent. • Strong communication skills in spoken and written Swedish and English. MERITING FACTORS • Experience from the Armed Forces, defense industry, FMV, or other government agencies. • Experience with budgeting and financial follow-up. • Experience working with radio systems. • Experience managing systems in large organizations. • Project management experience. Additional Information Employment Type: Permanent. The Armed Forces apply a 6-month initial probationary period for those not currently employed by the Armed Forces. Employment Scope: Full-time Location: Enköping. Travel to other locations in Sweden may occur. Civilian Position Start Date: By agreement.
