About the Unit The Technical and Maintenance Office for Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst) operates primarily at the Command Regiment in Enköping and is functionally led by the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters. The unit's main task is to be responsible for the maintenance support systems of the Armed Forces throughout their life cycle, from requirements definition to decommissioning, during peacetime, crisis, and war. Main Responsibilities As a Technical System Leader, you will play a central role in the management of assigned technical systems. The position involves developing, maintaining, and anchoring central management routines within the area of FTN. You will lead and participate in meetings with users, military organizations, maintenance and management staff, as well as representatives from FMV and the industry. The position will primarily be based in the Mälardalen area, with placement according to agreement with the manager. You will be part of a section consisting of 5-10 employees. Work will take place at several locations, for example, during facility and operational visits. Parts of the management work will be conducted collaboratively within the section's framework, such as during follow-ups and reporting. The tasks require a technical background, system understanding, strong administrative skills, and the ability to oversee the entire life cycle of the systems. You should have a good ability to summarize and draw conclusions from complex contexts, as well as the ability to work even with insufficient decision-making grounds. In this role, you will act as the primary representative for the involved material at the individual level, in accordance with the decided direction in change management. Furthermore, you will implement decisions and directions within the framework of the assigned material in your area of responsibility. As a Technical System Leader, you shall: • Ensure that systems and materials received from suppliers are maintainable. • Lead the reception of systems from suppliers to the Swedish Armed Forces. • Lead planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting of system status, operation, and maintenance. • Lead the deployment of materials to military units. • Lead the review and auditing of technical documentation. • Ensure that required training is available for operational and maintenance organizations. • Staff the role of purchaser towards operation, production, and maintenance actors. • Be responsible for financial follow-up in the purchasing role. • Actively work on continuous improvements within the operation. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications • Academic education in engineering/IT/system science, or relevant experience deemed equivalent by the employer. • Experience in management work within telecommunications networks. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English. • Valid driver's license (B). You are resilient under pressure, able to prioritize effectively, and possess strong analytical skills. You can collaborate with others and are social and unpretentious, traits that are required as the work demands close cooperation with other organizational units and authorities. Significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in the defense industry, FM, FMV, or another government authority within the Armed Forces’ telecommunications network or other telecommunications networks. • Experience in management work within the Armed Forces' telecommunications network or similar network structures. • Experience in managing systems in large organizations. • Experience and knowledge of IT security and information security. • Experience in project management. Other Information Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority. Degree of employment: Full-time.
