Technical Information Specialist (Temporary Position)

Technical Information Specialist - SPM Instrument (Strängnäs) About the Position As a Technical Information Specialist at SPM Instrument, you will serve as a critical link between our developers and users. The role involves creating, complementing, and developing technical data sheets, manuals, instructions, and context-sensitive help systems for hardware and software within industrial condition monitoring. You will structure and produce technical documentation using MadCap Flare and coordinate translations via MadCap Lingo and DeepL. The work involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other technical information specialists to ensure high technical and linguistic quality of materials. Your communication skills will contribute to keeping critical industrial equipment operational and maximizing process efficiency worldwide. Your Profile We are seeking a candidate with several years of experience as a technical information specialist. You have strong technical understanding, a passion for language, and the ability to make complex information clear and accessible to diverse target groups. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have relevant higher education or equivalent experience. We prefer candidates with: • Experience with MadCap Flare and translation workflow management • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop • Interest in illustration, film, or animation We seek an analytical, structured, and quality-conscious individual who can quickly comprehend technical contexts and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
