JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now seeking a colleague who will be responsible for property technical management issues at the Trelleborg hospital area and the forensic psychiatric center. The properties cover a total of approximately 60,000 square meters.
As a Technical Manager in Region Skåne, you will work with technology-intensive and complex properties with high demands on operational reliability. Your mission is to maintain and improve the properties' value and technical function while having property owner responsibilities towards authorities. You will collaborate closely with the financial manager, the project unit responsible for renovations and refurbishments, as well as property operations on site. The role also involves cooperating with other departments within Region Skåne and external stakeholders.
In the role of Technical Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Technical management responsibility for one or more of Region Skåne's properties
- Overall responsibility for meeting regulatory requirements in the management area
- Leading the planning of property maintenance, including both planned maintenance and property investments within the hospital area
- Preparing documentation for execution according to plan and maintaining continuous contact with the project unit, specialists, and financial management
- Collaborating with property operations and other stakeholders to establish documentation for prioritizing plans
- Ensuring that plans are kept updated in the property management system
- Actively maintaining good relationships with tenants, authorities, and the municipality
- Potentially serving as a fire protection coordinator and participating in customer and operations meetings.
For this position, your workplace will be in Trelleborg or Malmö, but you will work towards the hospital area in Trelleborg.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome applicants with a university degree in property technology/maintenance or equivalent education, along with work experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience in planning property maintenance and have previously worked in a similar role within the property, construction, and/or industrial sectors. Furthermore, you possess good computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office 365. The position requires you to have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Additionally, you hold a valid driver's license (category B) as travel is required for the job.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and self-aware. We also see that you are self-driven and structured, meaning you plan your work in advance and organize and prioritize activities effectively. To succeed in this role, you maintain a high level of service while being adept at finding new approaches, proposing ideas, and developing and challenging traditional working methods. We expect you to have strong communication skills and to be skilled at collaborating and relating to others in a responsive and smooth manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
