Then this job is for you! ABOUT THE POSITION Sodexo Assistive Technology Service in Östergötland provides assistive devices for mobility impairments, cognition, and communication. They have been working with assistive devices since 2015 and currently supply assistive technology to counties, regions, and municipalities, primarily in Östergötland. Within the Assistive Technology Service in Östergötland, there is a consolidated expertise. They work with testing, customization, maintenance, and training regarding assistive devices. We are now looking for technicians interested in conducting inspections of assistive devices for residences and private individuals. As a technician, you will plan your day and route independently, allowing you to take on a role where you can work autonomously while also having the opportunity to develop alongside experienced colleagues. In this role, you will meet people at various stages of life. Therefore, it is important that you feel comfortable addressing diverse needs and situations in a respectful and professional manner. The assignment is initially a short-term position but with good opportunities for extension. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Tasks include: * Performing preventive maintenance on beds. * Inspecting primarily floor lifts, but may also involve other types of assistive devices. * Carrying out minor repairs. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO Has a strong technical interest and preferably experience in repairing bicycles, mopeds, or similar. You have good manual skills with tools and enjoy working independently. You also have the ability to follow rules and agreements to ensure high quality in your work. You should be comfortable meeting people in various life situations and be able to respond to them with confidence and flexibility. To succeed in this role, it is important that you: - Hold a valid driver's license (B) and can drive a small service vehicle. - Have at least completed a high school diploma. - Master Swedish in both spoken and written form.
