We are currently looking for several Technicians for the Building Maintenance unit at Ringhals. About Us Building Maintenance consists of a close-knit group that plans, executes, and follows up on service and maintenance, i.e., maintaining functionality and material status, for all buildings, systems, and components at Ringhals, including infrastructure. The group is responsible for planning and performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on building technical equipment such as metalwork, pressure and discharge hatches, smoke hatches, doors, gates, submersible pumps, HVAC, road barriers, gates, locks, and fences. This also includes responsibility for the tools, equipment, and workshops necessary for the operation to function and develop. We work to ensure that the building technical equipment is operationally reliable and meets all requirements. In everything we do, we have a clear focus on personnel safety and facility safety – it is our highest priority. We are a team of about 10 people with roles as maintenance engineers and supervisors, and we are now changing the group by hiring our own technicians. Building Maintenance has a comprehensive operation that spans several technical areas, providing good opportunities to both broaden and deepen your technical skills. About the Job As a Technician, you play an important role in maintaining the facility to ensure the required operational reliability. We are looking for technicians with various experiences. Your tasks will be tailored to your skills, and you will have the opportunity to further develop through training and skill development in several technical areas. Examples of tasks include: • Maintenance of doors, gates, vehicle barriers, locks, fences, pumps, HVAC, and hatches • Metalwork and welding • Fire safety testing (SBA) • Troubleshooting and analysis • Development of maintenance aids and instructions • Administrative reporting in our maintenance systems The work is based on good communication and collaboration. During our maintenance outages, there may be periods of higher workload. Requirements You have: • A high school education with a focus on technology, vehicles, or industry • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as proficiency in English Meritorious: • Experience in mechanical maintenance work • Knowledge of hydraulics • Knowledge of welding • Knowledge of electrical systems An important part of effective maintenance work is to continually strive for improvements.
