Laboratory Technician – Make Quality Real with us at Borealis!
About the Role
As a Laboratory Technician with us, you will be a central part of the chain that ensures our polyethylene products meet the highest quality standards. Alongside colleagues in Quality Control, you will work to guarantee that every delivery meets our high requirements – both technically and environmentally.
You will:
• Perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses using various analytical techniques
• Measure mechanical properties and interpret results
• Document and ensure data quality
• Collaborate closely with other departments to solve problems and improve processes
We are looking for individuals for shift roles with a great variety of work, where you can combine technology, analysis, and precision – in a team that values both safety and job satisfaction.
About You
You thrive in a laboratory environment and enjoy understanding how things work in depth. You have experience with laboratory work, are comfortable using computers, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
We prefer that you have:
• A high school education in natural sciences or engineering, preferably with a focus on chemistry
• Attention to detail and analytical ability
• The capability to plan and prioritize your work independently
• An interest in learning new things, taking responsibility, and collaborating across boundaries
