At the Assistive Technology Center in Mölndal, we are currently seeking a technician with inventory responsibility who wants to contribute to ensuring that our assistive devices reach the right people at the right time. Job Description As a technician with inventory responsibility, you will work closely with colleagues and the unit manager to ensure good delivery and service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as inventory management, optimizing storage shelves and space, as well as analyzing balances, items, and statistics. In addition to your inventory responsibilities, you will also be part of the production team and assist other units within the Assistive Technology Center. Further tasks include: - Communicating with external partners and suppliers - Conducting inspections and servicing - Handling deviations and error reports - Inventory administration - Developing instructions and guidelines as needed Qualifications We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education and experience in warehouse/logistics work. You communicate fluently in Swedish and can express yourself well in both spoken and written forms. Since the majority of your workday will be spent in a warehouse environment, it is important that you have good physical fitness and an ergonomic working approach. Additionally, you possess digital competence and are comfortable using computers; for example, you have experience learning and working in various systems. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and skilled at collaborating with others. You have an interest in inventory optimization, working qualitatively, and contributing to the development of our operations. Previous experience in a similar role and responsibilities is an advantage, as is experience with assistive devices and a forklift license. About the Assistive Technology Center The Assistive Technology Center is a competence and logistics center for the Västra Götaland Region's own operations and the 49 municipalities within the region. Our service offerings are based on the needs of healthcare providers for both in-depth knowledge in the assistive technology field and various service functions to support the care chain. We manage purchasing, storage, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive devices. We also assist prescribers with assistive technology advice, individual assessments, and adaptations. Approximately 150 employees work at the Assistive Technology Center in Mölndal, and we offer you a developing workplace where you will receive orientation, training, and good employment conditions. As part of our operations, you as an employee lay the foundation for a well-functioning healthcare system and help facilitate life for individuals with disabilities. Other Information Interviews are scheduled to take place on December 15 and 16. Questions regarding the position will be handled by the recruiting manager, Mark McCrory, unit manager.
