About the Role

Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company in the energy and power sector, and we are developing Sweden's energy infrastructure! Vattenfall Services Nordic is now seeking individuals who wish to be trained and work as Inspectors in Uppland. In the role of inspection technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct inspections of power poles, substations, cable cabinets, and similar installations. You will work in the field year-round, carrying out inspections and continuously documenting your work. In this role, you will have close contact with your supervisor, and for longer distances, you will work alongside a colleague.
To enter this role, you will undergo intensive training at Vattenfall. In addition to your supervisor, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure you have excellent conditions to perform your work. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors and close to nature, and who also have a technical interest!
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
• Has completed education in electrical engineering, power technology, construction, or a similar field.
• Holds a valid manual B driver's license.
• Is willing and able to work physically and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Possesses strong IT skills and can manage various digital tools and programs.
As a person, you need to be self-driven and enjoy working independently while also being communicative and open to collaboration. You take significant personal responsibility and have structure and a solution-focused mindset as your prominent traits.

Location: You will be based at one of our establishments in Avesta or Västerås, with working hours between 7 AM and 4 PM. Travel within the region is included in the position.
